Recently "ADB and GIZ Joint Green Freight and Logistics Training Workshop" was held in Singapore. The training workshop aims to foster peer learning and exchange among various stakeholders in freight and logistics.

More specifically, it aims to:

• discuss the potential and benefits of green freight policies in the region;
• identify opportunities that can be developed into actions and projects;
• agree on a broad work plan for national activities;
• identify training needs by target groups, to form a knowledge base to complement efficient logistics and green freight programs in the region.

Participants: 100 transport industry experts, policy makers, industry association members, users of freight transport services, international organization representatives and other key stakeholders.
